Vermont sock manufacturer Cabot Hosiery Mills announced the appointment of Dan Leonardi as Vice President of Sales this week.
The company said the hire comes at a pivotal time as it continues to grow its premium performance lines and expand its footprint with specialty retailers.
Leonardi brings a strong track record of driving revenue growth, building premium brands, and leading high-performing sales organizations, according to the announcement. Leonardi’s role will be to lead revenue growth, expand distribution channels, and strengthen sales – all elements of the company’s long-term vision.
“As we continue to expand our presence in both specialty retail and direct-to-consumer channels, we are investing in leadership that can help us scale while staying true to our heritage,” said company President Angelica Taylor. “Dan’s experience building premium brands and leading multi-channel growth strategies makes him uniquely positioned to help us strengthen our retail partnerships and drive the next phase of our growth.”
Before joining Cabot Hosiery Mills, Leonardi was chief sales officer at ECCO Americas, where he led revenue strategy across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. He also held senior leadership roles at Sperry (Wolverine Worldwide) and Marchon Eyewear (a VSP vision company).
Leonardi has a degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey and lives in New York City with his wife and four children.
Founded in 1978, Cabot Hosiery Mills produces premium socks under a family of brands including Darn Tough Vermont, Wide Open, and Cabot & Sons. The company has manufacturing facilities in Northfield and Waterbury, Vermont.
