55th Mad River Valley Craft Fair supports the Valley Players

The 55th annual Mad River Valley Craft Fair is this weekend at Kenyon’s Field on Vermont Route 100 in Waitsfield.
The Labor Day weekend event supports the Valley Players community theater company. It runs Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 5-6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than 100 artists from Vermont and around New England will set up with unique, handmade creations including furniture, pottery, clothing and decorative items like framed art and jewelry.
The fair also features live music, door prizes, a food court and bar, and free face painting for kids. Dinoman will visit with his free Science Show at noon both days, featuring giant blow-up dinosaurs and real fossils.
Admission is $5; kids 12 and under are free. Parking also is free. The fair is held rain or shine and attendees are asked to leave their pets at home.
