Robert (Bob) D’Amico, 67, of Oakville, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 13, 2021.

Born on December 2, 1953, in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Joseph and Claire (Girolimon) D’Amico. After graduation, Bob went on to have an extensive career as a bakery route salesperson before he retired from the State of Connecticut.

Most recently, Bob battled numerous bouts of cancer, diabetes, and COVID-19. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Jessie and Josie, and at the beach in Rhode Island. Bob was known for his kind heart, his adoration of his daughters, and for spending his days walking in the park giving treats and pets to passing dogs.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his daughters Lindsay and Madison D’Amico, their mother Michele Couillard; his siblings Patricia Horbal, Joseph D’Amico and his wife Susan, and Thomas D’Amico and his wife Angela; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Claire (Girolimon) D’Amico.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown, Connecticut.
