Green Mountain Performing Arts plans seven-week summer youth day camp

Registration is open for the summer youth day camp program at Green Mountain Performing Arts that will run for seven weeks starting June 22.

Each week will have a different theme and will include morning and afternoon dance classes, along with outdoor games and hands-on activities. Some theme examples include Taylor Swift, mythical creatures, Wicked and K-Pop Demon Hunters.

The camp program and summer classes are open to children and teens ages 4 to 18 with both full- and half-day options. Camp fees vary on a sliding scale, with discounts for those registering for multiple weeks and for families registering multiple campers. Full-day weekly program fees range from $125 to $275; half-day weekly fees range from $70 to $140, depending on the number of weeks a camper attends.  

The summer dance classes offered with the program also may be enrolled in separately. 

As of Monday, April 13, there were openings available in each of the camp weeks, according to GMPA Director Marica Porter.
