The Corner School Resource Center in Granville is seeking work by visual artists in the communities in and near the White River and Mad River Valleys to be featured in the Third Annual Made in the Mountains Art Show.

The show opens with a reception on Sunday, Sept. 7, with exhibition hours on subsequent Sundays through mid-October.

Last year, this lively community event featured works by 13 exceptional local artists working in oils, watercolors, mosaics, glass, photography, and more.

Entry guidelines: Those with small pieces of up to 8” x 10” in size may submit up to six entries; artists with larger pieces may submit up to two entries. All work must be for sale and ready to hang when dropped off at the Corner School during specified hours on Monday, Sept. 1, or Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Interested artists should contact Diane at vtcornerschool@gmail.com by Aug. 24 for the registration form and additional details.

Organizers say they are looking forward to the collection the show attracts this year to be presented a the historic, renovated one-room schoolhouse in Granville.
