Steven H. Berry, 1941-2025
Steven H. Berry 83, born on December 19, 1941, in Somerville, Massachusetts, to Harry and Florence Berry, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at his home in Wolcott, Vermont, surrounded by his family.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Nancy, daughters Bonnie Berry, Tina (Todd Sr.) McNaulty, Kristene (Roger) Ewen, Michelle (James) Haggett; sons Kevin Berry, Steven (Shania) Berry Jr. , Donald Berry, and Jason Berry.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Doucette, his father Harry Berry, mother Florence Seaman, stepfather James Seaman, and a brother, Robert Berry. He also leaves behind a sister Ann Bouchard, a brother Dean (Jen) Berry, along with many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Steve served in the U.S. Army, 1959-1965. He was raised in Maine, and he moved to Massachusetts in 1965. In 1978, he moved to Vermont. During his earlier years, he was a booking agent for bands, an innkeeper, and he worked in professional marketing. Later, he went into sales. He worked for Champion Air Views in Port Orange, Florida.
He’s probably remembered in Vermont for the Monster Arm Wrestling tournaments he organized around the state. He put on many shows in prisons, bars, and at the Champlain Valley Fair. He ran for governor in 2014. He drove for RCT.
Steve, your “life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
