St. Andrew’s Catholic Church invites the community to donate and shop at its upcoming Mega Yard Sale on June 12-13, planned as part of its 150th anniversary celebration this year.

The special fundraising event will set up in the church hall, located behind the church at 109 South Main Street. Shoppers can expect a wide variety of affordable treasures, including books, toys, home décor, games, furniture, household goods and more.

The main sale will happen on Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A separate Early Bird sale will take place the night before, on Friday, June 12, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a $5 admission fee. Organizers say the Friday opening will “give bargain hunters first pick of the merchandise.” Admission for the Saturday sale hours is free.

Proceeds from the Mega Yard Sale support other celebrations this year marking the 150th anniversary of St. Andrew’s Church in Waterbury.

Ahead of the sale, community members may donate gently used items. Donation drop-off times will be on Thursday, June 11, 4–7 p.m., and on Friday, June 12, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The sale will not accept clothing or baby items. Organizers say they will responsibly donate or dispose of unsold items. For more information, contact the church office at 802-244-7734 or visit during the donation and sale hours.
