Stowe farm hosts 3rd annual Strawberry Jam music festival Aug. 8

For one summer day, Stowe’s Strawberry Hill Farm welcomes music lovers for an afternoon and evening of live music in a quintessential Vermont setting.
The privately owned homestead in view of Mount Mansfield transforms as attendees of all ages plant their chairs and blankets in the fields to enjoy music in the mountain air.

The fledgling festival is a collaboration between Strawberry Hill Farm owners Molly Pindell and Dave Wilkins and Waterbury’s live music venue, Zenbarn.
This year’s event is set for Saturday, Aug. 8. Now in its third year, the festival welcomes concert-goers from around Vermont and New England to see bands with national reputations, enjoy local food and savor Vermont’s summertime hospitality.
This year's lineup features an array of artists and rising talent, including Cory Wong, The California Honeydrops, Devon Gilfillian, Michael Daves & Jacob Jolliff, Nico Suave, Dobbs' Dead, and Cotter & Friends.
The artists span funk, soul, bluegrass, rock, improvisational music, and jam band-inspired sounds.
Beyond the stage, the festival includes local food trucks, craft vendors, family activities and lawn games. The festival also is committed to contributing to the community. Partial proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Jenna's Promise in nearby Johnson, serving Vermonters affected by substance use disorder.
For Pindell and Wilkins, opening the farm each August has become a natural extension of their commitment to conservation and community while sharing their passion for music. For Zenbarn, the event offers a unique opportunity to present live music.
“We believe special places become even more meaningful when they're shared,” Pindell said. “Strawberry Jam is our invitation to the community to experience this incredible property, discover amazing music, and spend a summer day together.”
Tickets: $107.74 (includes fees), general admission; $200.72 (includes fees) VIP; kids 12 and under are free.
