The Friends of Stowe Free Library extend an invitation to the Waterbury community to join them for a Howl-O-Ween Pet Party on Sunday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m to noon.

Here is their message in full:

Calling all pets and their humans for a frightfully fun morning at Stowe Free Library!

Bring your costumed companions (or just come as you are!) for a tail-wagging celebration featuring:

  • Astrology readings from Astrology with Lydia – discover what the stars have in store for you!

  • Custom clothing stamping – bring your own items or snag one of our shirts to personalize

  • Create an adorable ink paw print keepsake with your furry friend

  • Design a one-of-a-kind bandana for your pet to rock

  • Free homemade dog treats to spoil your pup

  • Costume contest with prizes! (Finally, an election you'll actually enjoy!)

No costume? No problem! There's plenty to do, and a DIY ghost costume is always just one old sheet away.

The library is located at 90 Pond Street in Stowe.

The Friends of Stowe Free Library is a nonprofit organization, supporting library resources, activities, and programs.

More information, is online at stowevt.gov/Departments/Library, or call or email the library: 802-253-6145 or stowefreelibrary@gmail.com.
