Terri was a 1967 graduate of Harwood Union High School and attended Framingham State University in Framingham, Massachusetts.

As a young woman she went to work for the Zayre corporation’s chain of national department stores. She later moved to Florida to work as an assistant project manager for the S.G. Phillips Corporation of Waitsfield. Returning to Vermont, she joined her brothers at the Vest Construction Co. of Waterbury. In 1992 she took a position as manager at the Harry N. Most recently she was a bookkeeper for Rodney's Rubbish Removal of Waterbury.

The American Legion Auxiliary was a big part of Terri's life. She served as past state president, executive woman, and corporate secretary. She was a life member of the former V.F.W. #10034 Auxiliary, and the Blush Hill Country Club of Waterbury. In her leisure time she enjoyed a good round of golf, helping coach women’s softball, and trips to the casino.

Terri is survived by her partner of 30 years Clark “Sparky” Ferris, of Waterbury; her brother Paul Vest and his wife Julie, of Bristol; as well as extended family. Terri was predeceased by a brother Garland “Gary” Vest.

A celebration of the life of Terri Ann Christie will be held at a later date.
