Child care from Neck of the Woods available for Moretown Elementary preschoolers

Neck of the Woods child care in Waitsfield has set up fall preschool childcare at Moretown Elementary School for families with pre-K students attending the school.
Harwood Unified Union School District staff share this information with the community.
The “wrap-around child care” program will accommodate children enrolled in the school’s preschool program who need care beyond the school’s structured preschool hours. Preschoolers enrolled at the Moretown school’s program two days per week can enroll in the Neck of the Woods child care offered at the school on days after their preschool program and for full or partial days when they are not in the scheduled school program.
Neck of the Woods Executive Director Moie Moulton explained that the school’s pre-K program enrolls children two days per week. “Neck of the Woods can then provide after-school care from 2:30 to 5 p.m., as well as full-day options on the days kids are not enrolled in the public pre-K program,” Moulton explained.
