Waterbury election results are in with Select Board incumbents Mark Frier and Katie Martin winning re-election to one-year terms, and Dani Kehlmann winning the three-year term.

School Board member Michael Frank won a tight race for a three-year seat on the Harwood Union School Board along with Marlena Tucker-Fishman. Waterbury’s other incumbent, Caitlin Hollister, was unopposed for a one-year seat.

Town Clerk Carla Lawrence reports that all articles have passed including the town budget and the “opt-in” for the commercial cannabis marketplace process.

The school budget and surplus allocation questions have passed with results from Moretown on those questions still not reported.

Also in Moretown, a question on whether the town would want to leave the school district failed. Moretown incumbent school board member Kristin Rodgers won re-election. All other candidates were unopposed.

In Duxbury, all articles passed including the budget, special articles for a truck purchase and a bond to fix the town garage. Voters there also voted yes to opt-in to the cannabis marketplace.

We will update our website with more details by Wednesday morning and send subscribers an election newsletter as well.
