Main Street Construction | Dec. 17-31

This is the last update for the 2020 construction season.

Some minor electrical work remains to be wrapped up through the rest of this month. Expect to see one-lane alternating traffic patterns this week while lights and signals are being worked on. Flaggers also will be present where activities are taking place.

  • New lamp posts will continue to be installed between Dac Rowe Park and Park Row.

  • Work on the new mast arms and traffic signal at the Stowe Street-Main Street intersection will continue this week depending on weather conditions.

  • There will be some final traffic signal adjustments at the Park Row intersection.

This schedule is contingent on weather, equipment, supplies and a variety of circumstances.

DO NOT SALT: The new concrete sidewalks and walkways should not be salted when there is ice and snow. Salt damages concrete over time by causing corrosion to occur under the surface, leading to discolored, cracked and crumbling concrete. Alternatives are sand or kitty litter.
