EFUD commissioner Finucane seeks re-election to a 3-year term

April 13, 2026

To the voters of the Edward Farrar Utility District:

I am seeking re-election to the board of commissioners of the Edward Farrar water and wastewater utility.

I moved to Waterbury in 1978 and raised my children here.

I have been on the EFUD board since it was formed in 2018, and previously served as a water and sewer commissioner for the Village of Waterbury beginning in 1991. I had a break in my service from 2008 to 2013, when I worked on water resource projects in San Francisco, New York, and Jakarta.

Today, I am a retired civil engineer. I believe that good public water supply and wastewater disposal systems promote health, quality of life, public safety, and environmental protection.

Best possible water at the lowest possible rates has been an engine for local economic development.

Thank you.

Robert Finucane

Waterbury

Robert Finucane is unopposed for re-election to a three-year seat on the Edward Farrar Utility District Board of Commissioners.
