EFUD commissioner Sherman seeks re-election to a 1-year term

April 13, 2026

To the voters of the Edward Farrar Utility District:

As a Waterbury resident since moving here in 2010 from Stowe, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a number of organizations that help shape the public life of the Waterbury community.

Being elected a Waterbury Village Trustee in 2011 provided me an opportunity to learn how local government works and to contribute to the continued vitality of our community. I served as a Village Trustee until 2018, when the Village government was dissolved and the Edward Farrar Utility District was formed to operate and manage the vital water and wastewater systems serving the community.

Since 2018, I have served on the five-member Edward Farrar Utility District Board of Commissioners in meeting the challenges of protecting our water sources. The board works on delivering safe drinking water to the tap and treating our wastewater to protect our rivers and lakes. I like the form of collaboration that the board offers. From this experience, I have learned the importance of meeting the challenges ahead to continue providing these vital services in a safe and effective manner to our customers.

In voting, please consider my experience and commitment to the health and welfare of our community. I ask for your support in allowing me to continue serving on the team of the Edward Farrar Utility District for a 1-year seat.

Thank you for your consideration.

Natalie Sherman

Waterbury

Incumbent Natalie Sherman is one of three candidates for two one-year seats on the Edward Farrar Utility District Board of Commissioners.
