LETTER: Democratic candidates for governor visit Camp Meade on May 30

Democrats need to unite and bring about change together. We have some great, fresh candidates running for governor, lieutenant governor and legislative seats.
Not all Dems are the same, but I think we can all agree that a change is needed. We need a new approach to housing, education, transportation, property taxes and health care. In 10 years, our governor has not been able to provide a vision for viable solutions to address any of the above problems. The time is here to let our voices be heard. There are no term limits for the governor in Vermont. Our only recourse is through voting. Please vote for a needed change.
This is why I have gotten more involved in party politics. As chair of the Washington County Democratic Committee, I will be sitting on the statewide platform committee to develop a document that will show how Vermont Democrats can make a difference.
I hope that you will join me on Saturday, May 30, from noon to 3 p.m. at Camp Meade in Middlesex (next to Woodbelly Pizza) to celebrate the community of Democrats in our area and meet the Democratic Party candidates running for governor. Come join us for pizza, live music and fun.
