LETTER: Have your used tennis balls to go to the dogs

My dog Romeo loves to go to the Waterbury Unleashed Dog Park and chase tennis balls from the time he arrives until it’s time to leave. Sometimes there are tennis balls and sometimes there aren’t, which is extremely disappointing for Romeo.
To keep not only Romeo but other dogs from being disappointed, I have started a Tennis Ball Drive. Gently used tennis balls would be appreciated to give the dogs of the Waterbury Unleashed Dog Park something to play with.
Drop-off locations are the vestibule at the Waterbury Public Library as well as at Dave’s Community Fitness. This drive will run until the end of August. Just look for the boxes wrapped in sunflower paper.
