LETTER: Mad River Valley Indivisible invites the community to Flag Day event

June 6, 2026

To the Community:

Rise Up, Sing Out is an Indivisible nationwide day of action and celebration on June 14, bringing communities together to honor the country we love on the anniversary of No Kings and Flag Day.

Through local gatherings, music, art, and a national livestream concert, participants will celebrate First Amendment freedoms and build the relationships that power long-term organizing.

Indivisible Mad River Valley invites the community to a watch party on June 14 at Afterthoughts, located at 8 Rt. 17 in Waitsfield. We are providing free soup and sandwiches at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be livestreamed from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Join us to celebrate our community and reclaim patriotism as inclusive, participatory, and rooted in community, not power or pageantry. Real patriotism is showing up for each other. It’s grounded in freedom, care, and shared responsibility. It includes all of us across race, background, identity, and belief.

Sign up to attend at https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/965555.

Thank you,
