Two years ago, the Waterbury Roundabout website launched to cover local news in our community.

We hope it's been a reliable source of information and connection for our readers, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are happy to see so many turning to Waterbury Roundabout online and picking up the weekly Waterbury Reader print edition published by the Times-Argus with many Roundabout stories.

We continue to work with student interns from the University of Vermont and elsewhere who gain valuable experience producing local news. We also are fortunate to have freelance writers in the community helping us bring you the news as well.

But our work still relies heavily on volunteer hours. The growing list of readers who support our work financially is critical to making this effort sustainable. It's especially helpful to have supporters who chip in monthly with tax-deductible contributions made possible by our fiscal sponsor, the Vermont Journalism Trust (parent to VtDigger).

If you look forward to This Week in Waterbury, spend time on WaterburyRoundabout.org and with the Reader, we ask that you consider joining them. No amount is too small. Click here to land on our Donate page to see how you can chip in online or find instructions to write a check.

And as always, thank you for reading!
