Town of Waterbury: Community members needed for Municipal Manager interview process
May 8, 2026The Waterbury Select Board is seeking community members interested in being on a Community Interviewing Team to screen municipal manager applicants.
Currently, the board anticipates finalist interviews will take place June 16-19. Each finalist will be in Waterbury on a separate day. They will have a tour of Waterbury and several interviews. Finalists will meet with a municipal staff team appointed by the Select Board, and with a seven-person community group, also appointed by the board. The full Select Board will also conduct separate interviews.
Community members interested in serving on the community panel must be available each day that week from 4 to 6 p.m. to interview candidates. To apply to participate, send a letter of interest by June 12 to:
