Summertime is winding down and that chill in the morning hints that fall foliage — and foliage photos — can’t be far behind. But first, here’s a peek at some of Waterbury Roundabout photographer Gordon Miller’s work over the past few weeks.

This summer had more than its share of hazy, smoky skies from wildfires up north and out west. Meanwhile, the soggy spring stepped aside for a particularly dry summer leaving water levels in Vermont’s streams, rivers and lakes much lower than usual. There are local examples here.
