Harwood fall sports signups are open

With cheers from the spring sports season just barely fading, signups for fall high school and middle school sports are now open.

Harwood Athletic Director Ian Fraunfelder said that the fall sports registration website is live and will close at 3 p.m. on Aug. 26.

Fraunfelder also shared a tentative fall schedule:

• Training for all high school athletes begins on Aug.13.

• The first day of school is Aug. 26.

• Middle school practices begin on Aug. 27.

• The first day for high school and middle school games is Aug. 28; the last day is Oct. 17.

• The tentative schedule for high school playoffs, according to the Vermont Principals Association, is Oct. 20-31.
