Mad River spring soccer signups open for players K-2

Mad River Valley Soccer Association this spring is offering an intramural, co-ed program for youth soccer players from preschool through second grade.

Players must be 4 years old to participate at the preschool level.  

The program will run for six Saturdays, starting May 2 and ending June 6, at Flemer Field (behind the Waitsfield Town Offices, 4144 Main St.) in Waitsfield. 

Preschool and kindergarten players will meet for practice just once a week on Saturdays, 9-10 a.m. Registration for those players is $50.

Players in grades 1 and 2 will practice on Thursdays, 5-6 p.m. They will also have games on Saturdays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration for those players is $75.

The program is run by volunteers and organizers are looking for coaches. They ask parents of players to consider registering as a coach for their child's program.
