With today’s high gas prices, many people are looking into electric vehicles and EV hybrids.
Those curious about how they work in Vermont, how much they cost, what new models are available, and the latest rebates and incentives can learn more at Waterbury LEAP’s Electric Vehicle Fest on Monday, July 20, at Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury.
LEAP has assembled a mix of makes and models, including Volkswagons, Teslas, Ford F-150s and Mustangs, Toyotas, Subarus, and models from Chevrolet, Lucid, Rivian, Polestar, and Hyundai. The event also includes a selection of the latest electric-powered lawn equipment.
Attendees can talk directly with local vehicle owners about their experiences. Find out how owning an electric vehicle can save money and help the planet.
The LEAP Electric Vehicle Fest is free and runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Crossett Brook Middle School. More information is online at Waterburyleap.org.
Waterbury LEAP is both a local nonprofit and Waterbury and Duxbury’s energy committee.
