September 2, 1985 – October 11, 2026

Krystal Lynn Blaisdell, 1985-2026

Krystal Lynn Blaisdell, 41, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Krystal was born on September 2, 1985, the daughter of Lawrence Blaisdell and Ann (Culver) Wilson.

Krystal graduated from U-32 High School in 2003. She spent many years in customer service, always priding herself on providing exceptional care with a welcoming smile that would warm the soul. Her most recent employment was at Shaw’s Supermarket in Waterbury, where she loved catching up with her regulars.

Krystal loved big, always caring for people and animals. She treated people like they were friends and made them feel that they mattered, no matter who they were. Anyone who crossed paths with Krystal was made to feel appreciated, heard, and loved. She loved her family, especially her greatest joy, her son, Jordyn, whom she loved to the moon and back. She was a fierce advocate for her son, family, and friends whenever she needed to be.

Growing up, Krystal loved camping with family and friends, a cherished memory she would always talk about. Later in her young life, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, helping others, going for drives, and loving her fur babies. Her proudest accomplishment was seeing her baby boy graduate from high school earlier this year.

Survivors include her fiancé, Bryan Farnsworth of Waterbury; her beloved son, Jordyn Blaisdell of Waterbury; her mother Ann and stepfather Geoff Wilson, of Plainfield; and her father, Lawrence Blaisdell, of Waterbury. She is also survived by her stepbrother, Joel Wilson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her fur babies – dogs Bailey and Marlow and cats Buddha and Luna – as well as the many close friends whose children lovingly knew her as “Auntie” and to whom she served as a godmother.

Krystal was predeceased by her brother Larry Blaisdell, her grandparents Robert and Eva Culver and Alfred and Katherine Blaisdell, her precious dog Brantley, and her dear friends Melissa Dunster and Amanda Gale-Pyka.

Krystal will be missed by so many. Her love and laughter were infectious to everyone she met.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Canadian Club at 414 E. Montpelier Road, in Barre. At the family's request, burial will be private.

Because of Krystal's love of helping others, those wishing to make a donation in her name may do so to the Waterbury Common Market food shelf, 57 South Main Street, Suite 3, Waterbury, VT 05676.
