For the second year, Revitalizing Waterbury will produce a commemorative poster for Waterbury Arts Fest and the organization has put out a call to Vermont artists to submit designs.

The annual art, food and entertainment event is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, July 12-13, to be held on the lawn at Pilgrim Park behind the Waterbury Train Station in downtown Waterbury. The event is the main fundraiser for the nonprofit economic and community development organization.

In 2023, a commemorative poster was added as a new Arts Fest feature. The design chosen was an image of the Waterbury Reservoir by artist, photographer and graphic designer Todd Cummings of Huntington.

The winning design is featured on the poster to promote the Arts Fest and across a multitude of platforms including Revitalizing Waterbury’s website and social media. The artist and their work are promoted in other ways such as having a booth at Arts Fest with opportunities for signings and demonstrations.

Artwork for submission must be vertical in design, 11x14. The submission deadline for designs is May 10. More contest details are online at waterburyArts Fest.com/about.
