An all-day music festival at Waterbury Center State Park on Sept. 6 will bring multiple bands, food vendors, and activities together for a fundraising event to support Vermont State Parks.

The 2025 Jam For The Parks is hosted by Stowe Cider and the nonprofit organization Vermont Parks Forever. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with live music music performances from noon to 8 p.m. by the Ryan Montbleau Band, Zach Nugent’s Dead Set, Jahriffe, The Moondogs, Nick Bredice, and Rock & Roll Playhouse.

The rain-or-shine, all-ages event will include a variety of food vendors, a full bar of craft beverages, and family-friendly activities.

This is the second year that Stowe Cider has teamed up with the parks nonprofit to put on a benefit event. Last year’s Jam for the Parks was held at Stowe Cider in Stowe, where Creative and Brand Manager Hannah Angelides said approximately 350 people attended. The event raised approximately $6,600 for Vermont Parks Forever, Angelides said.

A percentage of event proceeds and cider sales will go directly to Vermont Parks Forever, a foundation that supports programming and operations at Vermont State Parks. The event announcement invites the public to attend “to give back and celebrate an organization that brings awareness and preservation to our brave little state’s 55 state parks.”

On Saturday, Sept. 6, the Waterbury Center State Park will be closed for use by the general public. All park-goers that day must have an event ticket.

Angelides said organizers are hoping for 500 attendees this year. Overflow parking locations, once the state park lots are full, will be at Ivy Computers first, and Zenbarn if needed, along the Vermont Route 100 corridor. Shuttle buses will be in service to transport festivalgoers to the park and lots will have parking attendants to direct traffic.

As part of its planning and application to the Waterbury Select Board for an entertainment permit for the day, organizers also have made arrangements for sheriffs to be on hand to assist with managing traffic flow. Parking attendants and security personnel will be on site, and Waterbury Ambulance Service has been informed should they be needed, Angelides said.

Admission is $37; children age 12 and under are free. VIP tickets come with additional perks such as access to a viewing area close to the stage and use of private toilets. Get tickets and more event information (including band details) online here.
