The Waterbury Center Community Church is gearing up for its annual Winter Clothes Drive in mid-October.

Organizers are seeking donations of gently used, clean winter outerwear such as jackets, coats, snowpants, boots, hats, mittens and gloves for both children and adults.

A collection bin is set up behind the church and is situated so it’s convenient to just drive right up. It will be available until Oct. 12.

Look through closets to gather up any outerwear no longer needed. The distribution will be Oct. 17-18. This post will be updated with details.

“We're hoping the community can help us make this a great event again this year!” said Debbie Lavigne, a volunteer organizer of the event.

The Waterbury Center Community Church is located at 3583 Waterbury-Stowe Road (next to Cold Hollow Cider Mill). Direct any questions to organizer Debbie Lavigne at 802-244-5009.
