Vermont State University announces fall graduates, honors lists

Vermont State University has announced the students who graduated at the end of fall semester 2025 and those who earned placement on honors lists for the fall semester.

Among the December 2025 graduates are three students from Waterbury: Allison Bushnell, Kyla Grout, and Rue Watts.

“Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication have led them to this exciting milestone, and we couldn't be more thrilled to celebrate their achievements,” the VSU announcement states. 

The school also announced those listed on the fall semester President’s List, the highest academic honor, for having achieved a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. 

Four students from Waterbury are on that list: Simon Abramson, Piper Boudreau, Nicole Nadeau and Natalee Wells. 

In addition, the school’s Dean's List for the fall semester lists six full-time students from Waterbury who have achieved a 3.5 or greater semester grade point average: Sarah Burmester, Cole Dezan, Jennifer Furey, Jessica Laporte, Kelsey Trybushyn and Rue Watts.
