Main Street Construction | June 11-19

Construction activities are ongoing in all project segments along Main Street and side roads; flaggers and pedestrian crossers are present throughout. Expect delays and one-way alternating traffic.

Between Dac Rowe Park and Stowe Street: There is a planned water shut-off on Monday, June 15, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for properties #1-#21 on both sides of North Main Street. Night construction on the sewer line is planned for Thursday, June 18, from 6:30 p.m. until approximately midnight involving the intersection of Stowe Street and Main Street, weather and conditions permitting. Residents and businesses are advised to have bottled water on hand while work is ongoing in this area.

Between Stowe Street and Park Street: Road cut excavation will continue on the odd-numbered side of South Main Street to the fire station and will shift to the even-numbered side the week of June 15. One-lane alternating traffic will cause delays; driveway access will be temporarily disrupted. Vehicles will be traveling on a gravel surface. Public parking is available at 51South Main Street.

Between Park Row and the end of the project: On the odd-numbered side of South Main Street, sidewalks will be closed into July for grading, concrete pouring and installation of new granite curbing. Work will cause temporary driveway access delays. Please use new completed sidewalks on the other side of the street.
