Road projects are winding down this week. The main municipal project still under construction is the water line installation on lower Blush Hill. Other updates here on state projects around our area.

Monday is a holiday with work on most road and sidewalk projects halted for the day. In Waterbury, work will be ongoing however on the water line on Blush Hill in the vicinity of the Ashford Lane neighborhood.

Main Street curb and sidewalk repairs have been completed with one final step remaining to seal new concrete in the areas where patches were made. Projects from last week made slow progress given rainy weather. Sidewalks are under construction on Main and Stowe streets this week.

Work has begun to complete repairs on downtown sidewalks where utility poles were removed earlier this summer.

This weekend, there are events that will affect traffic in Waterbury in addition to road-related projects around town Monday through Friday.

Sidewalk construction continues on Stowe Street this week and crews will be working on Winooski Street near the bridge and rear entrance to Dac Rowe Park. Other updates here for projects around the region.
