Road Work | Week of July 6-10

July 2, 2026 | By Waterbury Roundabout

Weekly Road Work reports are assembled with information from the Vermont Agency of Transportation on projects in the region, the Waterbury Public Works Department, and other local highway departments for projects in Waterbury and neighboring communities as necessary.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution through work zones and to follow posted speed limits. Speeding fines are doubled in work areas along the interstate.

Bolton

ROAD OPEN: Duxbury Road in Bolton has been opened to single-lane traffic between the footbridge and Honey Hollow Road.

This pattern will be in place until further notice as crews complete work to repair storm damage to the roadway.

Motorists should use caution when traveling through this work zone.

Waterbury

Waterbury Highway Department Supervisor Celia Clark said some tree cleanup from Wednesday’s storms may still be needed on Monday, but town roads held up well.

Other work this week will focus on Waterbury Center with roadside mowing, grading and ditch maintenance.
