Sanders, Welch, Balint to hold telephone Town Hall on health insurance increases
November 18, 2025 | By Waterbury RoundaboutVermont’s Congressional delegation will hold a statewide telephone town hall on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m.
“Following a painful government shutdown that failed to protect Vermonters from massive increases in their health insurance costs, the delegation will hear directly from Vermonters about the challenges they are facing and will answer their questions,” the event announcement from U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders’ office said.
Vermonters will receive an incoming call from Sanders’ office on Tuesday evening, inviting them to participate in the call the following evening. The caller ID will read “Senator Sanders.” Another call will go out on Wednesday, just before 6 p.m., to connect Vermonters to the event.
Anyone who would like to ensure they receive a call to join the event can register here by midnight Tuesday night.
Vermonters can also submit questions in advance through this registration form. During the call, Sanders along with U.S. Sen. Peter Welch and U.S. Rep. Becca Balint, will respond to live questions from phone participants as well as ones submitted through the registration form.
This event will also be livestreamed by the delegation members on their Facebook pages and available there as a recording afterward.
