LETTER: Indivisible Mad River Valley encourages early voting

October 12, 2026

To the Community:

No Kings: Vote Early focuses on nonpartisan electoral action, voter registration, early voting turnout, and election protection ahead of the November 2026 midterm elections.

Our democracy depends on every eligible voter having the freedom to participate without intimidation, interference, or barriers. No individual, no party, no institution gets to make choices on who our leaders will be – we do. It is our right to vote for representatives who will best serve their constituents and work for us.

The local Mad River Valley Indivisible and Indivisible chapters across the country are working with the No Kings Coalition on this fourth event to create nonpartisan ways to get the word out in their towns on Oct. 17 and before that voters should make a plan to vote early and securely.

Want to help? One immediate way to make a direct difference is simply to call five friends and family in our state and in other states to encourage them to vote early and securely. Maybe ask them to call five of their friends!

Our main messages:

  • Our communities are strongest when everyone who is eligible to vote has a plan, knows their options, and follows through.

  • No Kings: Vote Early is an event focused on voter participation for all eligible voters. It is not affiliated with, coordinated with, or supportive of any candidate or political party.
