LETTER: Janoo and Gray support local energy generation, storage

October 28, 2026

To the Community:

Like many Vermonters, I’m concerned about the cost of fuel, how we pay to educate our children, and the impacts of climate change on our state.

In this election, we have the power to vote for a new vision for Vermont with Amanda Janoo and Molly Gray, who are committed to policies that will strengthen and grow our economy while protecting our environment and increasing the well-being of Vermonters.

As a former small business owner, I know that building Vermont’s economy in a way that benefits Vermonters is both necessary and achievable. We currently ship billions of dollars out of our state, lining the pockets of billionaires and mega-corporations.

Our energy supply is a great example of this. Solar is the most affordable form of energy generation, yet Vermont’s solar production has diminished over the past ten years, costing jobs and stifling economic development.

Molly Gray and Amanda Janoo are committed to expanding local energy generation and storage to reduce energy costs and increase Vermont’s energy independence.

We need energy to fuel transportation, heat our homes, and of course, chill our beers. Getting that energy locally is in line with Vermont’s independent spirit.

I hope you will join me in supporting Molly Gray for lieutenant governor and Amanda Janoo for governor this November.
