Waterbury’s No Kings 3 was a huge success. We had a little over 400 participants rally in solidarity to stand up for democracy! If you participated or drove by and honked, thank you, you rock!
So, what’s next? There are two well-established Indivisible groups in our area: the Mad River Indivisible in Waitsfield and the Camel’s Hump Indivisible in Richmond. Both groups are incredibly well-organized, and each meet once a month.
If you would like information about either of these Indivisible groups, send me an email and I will get you hooked up with their leaders.
I am starting to hear info on a May Day event (May 1) and will send out information once a plan is in place.
Here are several interesting articles/videos from the last couple of days to share:
Robert Reich on Why we protest
The UN has investigated and confirmed the genocide in Gaza
Vote Blue No Matter Who? This is a long video but worth a watch.
Let’s end with a little humor, because we all need it.
As always, your neighbor and friend,
Carol Baitz
