May 10, 2025

To the Duxbury Community:

It gives me great pleasure to drive the newly cleaned-up roads in Duxbury.

This year, Green Up volunteers went above and beyond, hauling nearly 200 bags of trash to the town office.

I wish I could thank you individually — know how grateful I am to each of you.

I want to give three shoutouts: Here's to Monique Beaudry and the Vermont state Environmental Health Division workers, who cleaned up from the Bolton town line to Camel's Hump Road; to Ellen Berrings and the Harwood Rotary Interact students and Rotarian Jeff Smith, who cleaned up Rt.100 near Harwood Union HS; and to an individual who gathered 10 bags of particularly messy garbage from the hill behind our Town Office.

Thank you, one and all!

If you'd like to give a particular report on your experience (problem spots, estimated number of bags you filled, etc.) you can reach me at jessicaengels58@gmail.com.
