January tradition burns bright
January 21, 2026 | Photos by Gordon MillerConditions were pretty close to ideal on Saturday night for the annual Christmas tree bonfire and skating party at Anderson Park. Waterbury Fire Department members handled the blaze that provided light and warmth. The ice at the outdoor rink was just right for those who brought their skates. More than 50 people gathered for the event.
