Some thoughts as autumn marches by: We have loved being surrounded by the fabulous fall colors, no matter how muted or brilliant the foliage season may have been. We were forced to tolerate the increase in traffic and tourists, but those of us fortunate enough to get out on the water had the best experience!

Summer has made a steamy, muggy and hot entrance. The warm weather and holiday weekend brought many visitors to the reservoir, keeping rangers, park staff, vendors, and our Aquatic Invasive Species greeters very busy.

This spring on the Waterbury Reservoir, rain-resilient anglers, paddlers, boaters, and campers have seen signs of the reservoir coming to life after a bleak winter.
